Stoddard Software Services develops and distributes software applications for Apple platforms (iOS, macOS) and the web. Our services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Mobile and desktop applications distributed via the Apple App Store or Mac App Store
  • Web applications and services accessible via browser
  • APIs and backend services supporting the above
  • Software consulting and development services

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software we provide
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our services or systems
  • Use our services to transmit harmful, offensive, or infringing content
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from our services without prior written permission

4. Intellectual Property

All software, content, trademarks, logos, and other materials provided by Stoddard Software Services are the property of Stoddard Software Services or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use our applications solely for your personal or internal business purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

Our services may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as Apple's App Store, payment processors, or analytics providers). We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Stoddard Software Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your country of residence and cannot be waived by contract.

  • EU / EEA users: You benefit from the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws of your EU member state, including any rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and applicable national law.
  • UK users: You benefit from the mandatory provisions of UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • US users: Applicable federal and state consumer protection laws continue to apply to the extent required by law.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and Cyprus, in which Stoddard Software Services is established. For consumers in the EU or UK, you may also bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence. The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr for users in the EU.
